As a creative outlet occasionally I try making something unique. Using bent wood I have made a series of lamps, wallhangings and “boats” or elongated bowls based on an old boat construction technique.
 

The round bowls are made using the laminating process but re shaped on a lathe.

I am always finding new woodworking projects to pursue as well as examples created by other woodworkers which may offer new ideas and directions to try.
 

The marvelous qualities of wood; color, texture, pattern, figure, maleabelity and strength make it a perfect but challenging medium for my artistic creations.
