About Howard Woodworks
Howard Woodworks, ltd. is located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains about sixty miles north of Denver in Loveland Colorado.
Around Loveland there are many things to see and do. Along with recreational activities there is a burgeoning arts and crafts community. In fact the largest outdoor sculpture show is held in Loveland in August and attracts thousands of art lovers.
Having lived in the area for thirty five years we have seen many changes and the art community is growing along with the general population.
Of the many arts and crafts available locally, Howard Woodworks, ltd. offers a unique line of wood jewelry designs handcrafted by the owner, Mark.
In addition we welcome custom orders.
About owner, designer and maker
Mark’s knowledge of wood working evolved over time with his involvement in custom design and builds in home improvement and cabinetry. After ten years studying drawing, painting and printmaking Mark earned his MFA in drawing and applies his artist eye to everything he makes.
“My fascination / preoccupation with linear designs created in this process is an extension of earlier ideas explored in various media, including encaustic, printmaking, and drawing which I studied
at CSU culminating in an M.F.A in drawing.”
